Pineapple Jam


Today my mom make or cook the pineapple jam... in the morning she and my dad go buy the pineapple and the fellow will 'blend' (don't know any other word to use) it for you... my mom bought 15 pineapple... when i was little, we usually parut the pineapple ourself... cause not very much and we just make for our own... but now is different cause wanna sell and got a lot... parut till gila... hahaha... anywho, brought back and have to tapis to let all the 'excess' water or juice out... then have to cook it and add in sugar and kayu manis (cinnamon if not mistaken)... that's all... the blended pineapple is light yellow in colour... no picture cause i was a bit late... my mom add in the sugar and cinnamon dy... after add in the stuff have to cook till it dry and golden in colour... it won't be 100% dry due to the sugar... the final product is sweet and sticky... hehe... try at your own risk... :รพ but i think mostly people know how to do right... cause pineapple tarts is a must in chinese new year... hehe...
