Coconut Flower, Telok Gong

Went for dinner at Coconut Flower Restaurant last Sunday since my parents is around and to celebrate Father's Day... the restaurant is at Telok Gong, Port Klang... 15 minutes drive from my house... damn near... hahaha...

The place and atmosphere there is not bad... there are small small tent like the above for individual family... before you go you must book because there is a lot of people... and tourists too...

This is their famous for and is also their restaurant's name; Coconut Flower Wine... it's the white colour thingy in the bottle... they mix it themselves... something like rice wine... alcohol level is very high and is very sweet... so you can't drink it like that... it is recommended to mix with Guinness Stout... bitter sweet taste... hahaha... no pun intended... you could also buy home...

This is also one of their specialties... they are a seafood restaurant, so they will recommend seafood more... this is Coconut Tom Yam Prawn... they coconut and prawns made the tom yam very sweet... nice nice...

This is the razor clams... damn big and juicy...

This is also one of the specialties; Red Wine Chicken... but I think only so so nia... they use kampung chicken... but I cant really taste the red wine... only the ginger taste...

Deep Fried Fish in Soy Sauce... this fish is damn crispy and fresh... nice nice...

At the end, we still order a lala noodles (no pic cause biasa only)... and it total only to RM 150-160... quite resonable the price... we thought it will price to above RM200... cheaper than we expected... that's why so many people... can go again... they have other dishes too that can try...

A delightful lunch

Went out for lunch on Thursday with my colleagues... they recommended a Korean Restaurant at Pearl Point... located at the corner of the shopping mall... dunno what the shop name is... haha...

I ordered the above... Bi Bim Bap... Korean pot rice or something... it is damn huge the bowl... made from clay or stones... dunno... it kept the rice warm from I started eating to finished eating... nice nice... but a bit pricey at RM 15.90...

Some of my colleague ordered this... Korean Fried Rice... the portion is very big... and it only cost RM7.90... seriously... very 'tai'... I din order this cause just had fried rice the day before... not bad... can go again... oh yea, they serve Korean tea for free... can refill summor... :D

Strawberry Kiwi Ice Blended

Have some strawberries... made an ice blended with kiwis as strawberries not enough... turned out ok...

Ingredients: (make 1 serving)
3 large strawberries
Half a kiwi
1/2 cup of low fat yogurt
A scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)
1 tbsp of sugar (dissolved in hot water)
1-2 cup of ice cubes

Method:
Cut the strawberries to quarters... cut the kiwi to cubes... recommended that you cut of the seeds... I noticed if you blend with the seeds... it will taste a little bitter... blend the strawberries, kiwis, yogurt and ice cream still smooth... add in the sugar and blend till mixed... add in the ice cubes depending on how much ice you want... serve...

Kiwi Yogurt Ice Blended

Since I have some kiwis and a blender on hand... I decided to make ice blended with it... it turned out not bad... this is my first try...

Ingredients: (make 2 servings)
2 kiwis - diced
1/2 cup of low fat yogurt
1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream - optional
1 tbsp of honey
2 tbsp of sugar - dissolved in hot water (about 100-150ml)
1-2 cup of ice cubes

Method:
Blend the kiwis, yogurt, ice cream, honey and sugar still smooth and thick... then add in the ice cubes and blend still smooth... the ice cubes depend on how much ice you want... if your kiwis are sweet and not the sour kind... you could skip the sugar...

My first ice-blended...

I bought my parents to watch Kungfu Panda 2... in 3D summor... hahaha... it was better than expected... so funny... I was like laughing all the way from start to end... parents liked it too... am glad... better than the Pirate show... 2 movies in 2 days... both 3D summor... not bad huh...
