...& Ipoh

(continue from previous post)

Around 12.30am, we left for Ipoh town... using the old road, it's jam the whole way cause is lunch time... we spend our time turning here and there.. after that we decided to park our car and walk... it's easier to look for the shops... we saw the famous 'Yim Kuk Kai' (Salted Chicken) and bought 1... they dont have places to eat there, only take away... then we walk to the 'Lou Wong Nga Choi Kai' (Bean Sprout Chicken Rice)... we order half a chicken and ate the salted chicken there...

A mountain of tauge... normal only lo...

The chicken also is normal... nothing much special...

This is the salted chicken... it's kinda small thought... erm... it's salty lo... hahaha... like that lo... after that we walk around the town and have 'Tau Fu Fa'... biasa only... I prefer Melaka one where we have it with ginger soup... I think only Melaka have it...

Later, we decided to go to the 'Pi Li Tong' (Perak Cave)... it's actually a temple build in the cave...

At the entrance, you'll see this wording which is 'Pi Li Tong'...

In the cave, there are paintings on the walls... some are huge and some are moderate...

When we reached there it's already passed 4pm... and there are closing the place... the dont allow people to climb to the top dy... so we might al well just took some photos around...

There's also monkeys running around the temple...

This is the outside of the temple...

After that, around 4pm, we decided to head to the infamous Old Town White Coffee... you cant leave Ipoh without trying the white coffee isnt it...

This is the original white coffee... it's an old coffee shop... the white coffee there is really aromatic and 'kao'... no wonder they're famous for it... it's really nice unlike any other...

They also have the cold one... it is different taste from the hot one... the cold one have more milk in in... I ordered the hot old... like that only could taste the originality mah... hehe...

After having some coffee, we decided to look for dinner... it's already around 6pm that time... we wanted to try their Curry Mee but the shop closed dy... so we drive around searching for food... then we stopped at a hawker like place to have dinner... most of us called the Hor Fun... Ipoh famous for it, isnt it... not bad la, I guess... after dinner we went back... and it rained the whole way...

The trip was tiring of course... but it was fruitful la... in a way... at least we tried the chicken rice, salted chicken and also the white coffee... maybe next time we could have another Ipoh trip... no more gua... just makan makan and jalan jalan... neway, thanks guys...

Time passed so freaking fast...

Gua Tempurung...

Yesterday morning we all left at 6am... we went by 2 cars, 7 of us altogether... one car is from TMP and another from Puchong... then we all met up at the Restoran Jejantas Sungai Buloh... at that time, the sky is still dark and has a little drizzling... after having breaky, off we go to Gopeng... on the way we stop a few times...

The scenery on the way beautiful... the sun rise and the coulds and the blue blue sky... the greenery is typically green... should have due to the down pour earlier... exited from Gopeng and follow the Kampar road till we see the Gua Tempurung sign... we reached the entrance of the cave around 9.40am or so...

There's a lake at the entrance... not sure whether it's natural or man-made... there are 3 pakages for the tour... 1 and 2 is dry tour and 3 and 4 is wet tour... we wanted to take the 3rd one but due to it just rained earlier... the ranger said it's dangerous cause the water level could reached 2 meters high... so we ended up taking the 2nd tour... a bit disappointed...

We started the tour at 10.20am... this in the entrance to the cave...

This is the first and only sunlight that you will see in the cave...

This is the same view... but from a different angle...

Along the way, there are rocks formation that looks like animals or anything you could think of... the ranger showed us some but you'll have to need torch light to see it... tried to take photos but it's either end up all black or blur...

Basically the tour 1 an 2 is just climb up and down stairs... all the way in and back... yes, there is no back door or exit... you'll have to walk all the way back...

Group photos... some part of the cave they allow us to go outside of the walking path to take photos... like this...

The rock formation is weird... the rocks some of them grow up instead of making a hole where the drops of water hitting it...

Some primitives we met on the way... hahaha... no la... they are the people that follow us on the tour since they only have 3 people... the tour need minimum of 5 people for tour 1 and 3... and minimum of 8 people for tour 2 and 4...

Around an hour of climbing and going down stairs (including taking photos)... we reached the end of the tour, called the Top of The World... cause it's the highest peak in the cave... if not mistaken la... then we walk all the way back... that's all lo... after the tour, we feel more disappointed since we could not take the 3rd package...

After the tour, we took a shower (have to pay 1 buck) and continue our day trip... next stop, Ipoh...

Rain

June’s lies and the truth in front of my eyes
are put away in sepia tones
Nestling close to one another, warmth;
I don’t understand those things anymore

“You’ll be fine on your own… right?” you said,
forcing it upon me and then you said goodbye
If it’s going to be that kind of consolation,
then I should be tired of hearing it by now

Endlessly ringing; the merciless memories
seem to have no intention of forgiving me
If I close my eyes
they will only grow surrounding me at a distance; your laugh

Will the rain ever stop, I wonder?
For a pretty long time now it’s been cold
Why does the rain choose to fall on me?
Why does it choose me who has nowhere to escape to?

Time intrudes on the new morning I finally found
The direction I face is not the future, I kept chasing after the past

You, who gave me a new start by your consolations
and the hateful and cowardly me
It’s about time… Fumbling,
my troubles spill down my tired cheeks

Eyes that don’t want to know the past
and fingers that can wash it all away
Scars heal at a gentle pace;
at an unreachable distance that seems to be within reach

Will the rain ever stop, I wonder?
For a pretty long time now it’s been cold
Why does the rain choose to fall on me?
I wonder if it’s okay to let it cover me

The rain keeps on falling today as well knowing no end
While we quietly nestle together under the umbrella I hold

Will it stop raining on me?

Tiring days

Back at Melaka... every time I come back, I felt at peace... leaving the hassle and bustle of KL... it seems the pace has slowed down...

No one is at home... parent went to Taiwan with bro and his gf... coming back on Monday morning... I came back to take care of my dog... a week she was left at home alone in the house... when I came back yesterday night... the house is full of shit and pee... so smelly... I have to wipe the shit and mop the floor... and doing cleaning after work and a 2 hours long drive is freaking tiring...

The pass few days has been kinda tiring too... works been piling up and it never seems to go down even after I thought I have done tonnes... and the pass few days, due to the FIFA World Cup... our company is having a competition to decorate our own area and prizes will be given for the winner... there's also futsal and bowling organized and will be held throughout the FIFA month... due to that, a colleague and me have been 'shopping' around and decorating our department... almost everyday we went back around 10pm... except yesterday since I'm coming back to Melaka... with all the tiring days and efforts, I'm kinda glad with what we have done... felt satisfied with the results... sorry, no pictures... maybe another post... but it's for a month... so more to come... any ideas to share?

Haven been blogging for a while now... have ran out of things to write... maybe I shall do more random stuffs... life is too short...

Do you really meant it?
the words you said...
