Penang Trip - Day 2 (AM)
On the second day, we wanted to go to the Bukit Bendera... but it is still close for renovation... it is estimated to reopen at the end of December... we went at the wrong time... oh well, so we went to the Kek Lok Si Temple...
The area is very big... and a lot of stairs... climb and climb and climb... a lot of statues too...
Then we went up to the Bronze Statue of Guan Yin... you have to pay for it and take a lift to the top... RM4 per person... it is the only way up and down there...
The Bronze Statue of Guan Yin...
View from the top... you could see the whole city...
There is also more statues and decorations on top...
Then we went to the Golden Pagoda... also have to pay money one... forget how much dy... think is RM5 per person...
The carving is amazing... very detailed...
There's also is a wishing bell... drop your donations and ring the bell... TONG~
Then we climb to the top...
Some view from atop...
Think there is 7 or 9 levels... forget dy... but the very top level is lock... maybe is too dangerous... cause the steps climbing up is very steep.. the higher the steeper...
We spent the whole morning there... climbing up and down... and praying all the way... more on the next post...
