Delta

A new trimester has started for a week dy... this trimester is the first of our Delta year or third year... first week of study was boring... but with all my friends is fun... MMU has been freakingly increasing their fees... before the start of the trimester... MMU has increased the vehicle sticker of cars from RM1.50 to RM12.00.... and motor from RM1.50 to RM2.00... for the motor there is no problems but for the car owners like me who drive to campus everyday is too much... RM12 is too much to ask for... is not that they provide a parking space for us... or there's shade... we have to walk in the hot sun while parking up at a hill top... and sometimes the parking space are not enough... they bought a tiny machinery to type our car number and serial number... unlike last time they used marker pen... how much is that little stuff cost till they have to charge us so much... crazy...

Besides that, just a few days ago... they decided to charge us for using the library too... RM100 a year... what is the meaning of this... MMU is so poor is it... RM100 to use the library... books in the library are not up to date too... and has limited sits.... I wonder what else will they charge us for after this... using the lab maybe... or increase the academic calender from RM1 to RM10... or better, introduce a parking fee in campus... stupid....

Well, just wanna express my feelings... other than the stupid stuff MMU do... yesterday I went to MP after class with Arif around 12pm... had lunch at burger king... after that went to watch Pirate's of the Caribbean: At world's End... Johnny Depp is so funny... the movie last for about 2 hours and 45minutes... not bad la... I know the movie very long dy... no time to watch mah... hehehe... ohya, on Wednesday we went to play badminton... hahaha... is was fun to sweat it out... next week going again... anyone wanna join? hehehe...

Belated

Last Saturday I went to Jasin to celebrate my cousin Lian Na birthday... she's 2 years old... not much people around just some of my cousins, nephews, and nieces... just go there and eat only... hahaha... my aunt ordered Malay food... ask people cook wan... she also cook some... the food is nice... although its late... I still wanna wish her happy birthday...

Went for badminton today....
so tired...

but I'm bored...

Bye Bye Kitty

On the last day... went down to hotel lobby and wait for the lady to come and take back the car key... but she will be late a bit... so we went to have breakfast... the hotel lady say the famous laksa is just a walk from here and crossing the road... beside a blue building... so we went there... and just notice that we pass here several times... so we ordered laksa and their teh-c special... the laksa is really nice... nicer than the first time we had... the aroma and taste is 'thicker'... and the teh-c is thick too or 'kao'... hahaha... nice...

After breakfast we went back hotel and the lady is there dy... we gave back the key and ask her to send us to the Little India Street... and she is very kind enough to send us there... all the peoples in Kuching are very friendly...

It just a short drive from the hotel... reach there around 10am... due to it is not a holiday time... the street are not pack with people... Little India is like China Town in KL... all the shop sell modern stuff... but mostly sold cloths and baju kebaya... the price is the same as in Melaka... so we din buy anything... just bought some coffee bean and they blend for you... the smell of the coffee powder is so nice... after around 10.30am we took a taxi and went back to the hotel... after packing our bags we went down and check-out at 11.30am...

We left our luggages at the hotel before going out for lunch... we had Suan's Chicken Rice... it's basically like Wilson Chicken Rice here... but they only serve steam chicken... not really nice... like others the chicken is oily and fatty... I also order soursop drink... it has lots of soursop in it...

After lunch we walk around... and only knew that the first shoppinf center we went in is called Tun Jugah... and the shopping center beside the hotel is Sarawak Plaza... we went in Sarawak Plaza and walk around... but nothing much to see...

After that we went to Parkson again... we walk a bit and bought some water to bring along... with all that done its only 12.30pm... so we went back the hotel lobby to rest cause my mom's leg sore dy after walking for 2 days...

We sat a while and around 2pm i suggest that we took a taxi and went to the airport... cause waiting here and waiting there is the same... we reach the airport before 2.30pm... and I just notice that it has 3 floors... the ground floor is for arrivals, the second is for dono what department or infomation center or sort, and the third floor is for departure... they made the road to the third floor so its easier and you don't have to go from the first to the third...

We sat there waiting outside for about 2 hours... then we went to take tickets and went in... I forgotten to mention that when you reach Kuching the first time... the will give a paper with all your details... and you have to sign it... that paper or document, actually just a small piece of paper will allow you to stay at Kuching for 90 days... its like a pass... when you went into the waiting hall you have to give back to them...

Around 5.30pm our plane arrives... but our actuall schedule is to fly at 5.35pm... this means that it had delayed... after went in the plane we took off at around 6pm... so approximately around 7.45pm we'll reach KL... but miraculously we reach at 7.20pm... this means that this plane fly faster than 850km/hr... that's fast... faster for about 30 minutes... when the plane landed... my ears did not hurt at all... but my parent their ears hurt... hahaha... weird...

I was very hungry at that time... so we decided to have dinner at the airport... we had nasi lemak with a free flow drink... hehehe... we refill about 5 times cause we ordered only 1 cup... why waste money if you could refill for free... after that we took a taxi to my aunt house... when we went into the car... the uncle is so rude and angry asking us where to go... he say USJ and Subang is different price wan.... sweat... the whole way is in silence till we reach my aunt house... reach at 9pm... after saying goodbye to my aunt we straight away went back to Melaka... reach around 11pm due to road block near Tesco... then it is home sweet home...

Sarawak Cultural Village

The next day, woke up around 7am and get prepared... after that we ask the hotel people about the Sarawak Cultural Village and rented a car... a small Kancil cost RM70... we also bought the tickets to the cultural village... normal price is RM60 but we bought from the lady is only RM50 per person... while waiting for our car we went to have breakfast nearby... not far from the hotel is a stall selling noodles... we ordered Kolo Mee... its actually like Wantan Mee... but without the soya sauce... its very dry... not that nice... after that we went back to the hotel and our car is here... took the key and ask how to go to the village... and we're off...

At that is around 9.40am... and we reach the village about 10.30am... its very far outside of town... but the road is kinda easy to go... there is only one road... after reach there, they will give each person a passport... actually its a book... you suppose to bring the passport around the village... and as you enter each house... they will stamp for you... total of 9 stamps... it's also as a souvenir... so we start off with the Chinese House... and after 3 houses... its almost 11.30am dy... the cultural show is about to start... so we went to the theater to watch... the show last for 45 minutes... after that we continue to the other houses...

The village is like a living museum... it has a man-made lake at the center... and the houses are around the lake... 50 buck is too much... not much to do in there... just walk around only... it is smaller than I had expected... but its a good experience la... they say you went to Sarawak must go to the cultural village... if not you have not been to Sarawak... not much will be said here... just enjoy the pictures...

After that thought of wanna go to the seaside but its block... so decided to go back to town... but on the way we saw the Cat Museum sign... go decided to go there... it is located on top of a hill... inside the dewan bandaraya... the museum has a lot of cats figures... from arts to statues... from made of beads to porcelains to woods... first we though cannot take pictures but then saw people took we only took some... all the cats are so beautiful...

Not paradise... took this at the parking for Cat Museum...

After that we went back to town to have lunch... its about 2pm dy... all of the shop has finish selling... luckily we saw a shop that till open... and we had chicken rice again... not really nice... the food is cold and the chicken is so oily... after that we went to buy more biscuits... while buying it started to rain... and it get more and more heavy... so we decided to go back to the hotel and rest... since we cant go anywhere... that time is about 4pm...

After resting for an hour... the rain stops... so we decided to go out again to look for the Fort Margharita... after asking for directions... we still cant find it... so we ask people again... we ask about 3 or 4 peoples... but at the end we still cant find it... we wasted an hour looking for the fort... so we gave up... and went back to town...

We just drive around town searching for place to stop... but most shop has closed... so we decided to had dinner cause its 7pm and feel hungry dy... drive around but couldn't find any stalls to eat... drove around and saw the Great Cat... so stop and took pictures... kakaka... after that we park our car at hotel and walk to a shopping complex just beside it... thought had to eat KFC but then saw food court... so we had black pepper chicken rice and white lady (a kind of shaved ice)... after dinner walk around the shopping complex that we don't even know what its called... around 9pm we went back hotel and rest... leg sore dy...

A lot of condensed milk... got longan and sagu with jelly at the bottom... so so nia...
