Team Building @ Phuket - Day 2
On the second day, we woke up at 7am (all time are TH time in this post) to gather at the lobby, cause we will be having a jogging session... yeap, right in the morning... after some stretching, off we go... we job outside the resorts... there's some trainers that lead the way... kinda far though... but the views on the way was nice... I din bring my camera... after jogging, we had breakfast at around 8am or so... around 9.30am we have an elephant feeding session... a baby elephant, think is a she... and she is so cute... just feel like want to bring her back with you... hahaha...
Only kids could ride her as adult is to big and heavy for her... elephant is called 'chang' in Thailand... she's so cute... and she have a few tricks to attract you... if you want to, she will use her trunk to kiss you... very geli feeling...
Around 10am or so, we all gathered at the pool for pool activities... those of us that came earlier have already been swimming in the pool... including me... hehe... the first activities is water valleyball.. is was fun but tiring... we were divided to the same team again as the first day... and in my team; red team, only another colleague and me knows how to swim... so the both of us have to go forth and back to get the ball...
And as you might have figured it... the red team lost... most of the yellow team members know how to swim... so they have more advantage...
During the last match, I hurt my shoulder... luckily it din fall off like last time... I was trying to get the valley ball and when I stretch my hand, the bone shifted and when i put down my have it shifted back... and it hurts a little... but the water make it hurt even more... so I went out of the pool and rest... after the valley ball session we have water aerobic... I din joined... just rest and snap photos...
After that, we have lunch at 1pm... the time after that is free and easy... means we have about 4 hours for ourselves... we have to gather at the lobby at 5.30pm... so a bunch of us decided to head down to Phuket Town... half of us went shopping and the other half went for massage... I joined the half to shop... we went to this street (figure below) to shop as there are alot of shops there...
Actually the journey to the town took around 30 minutes... so back and fro needs about an hour... so we really have limited time to shop... some of the girls bought shoes... forget call what shoe dy... is like the crocs shoe you find in pasar malam... but this is made in Thailand... they very like it... I just bought a few shirts and time just passed by... then we went into Robinson to but some snacks... the Glico Pretz Stick snack there is very cheap... a box a buck... so I also bought some...around 4.45pm we went back...
At night, we are going for another show; the Phuket Phantasea... it's actually a show with animals especially elephants... this is more to a cultural show... the ticket include a buffet dinner and the show... inside the place there are a few shops that sell souvenirs...
Like most shows, photography are not allowed... the show last about one and the half hour... it's kinda interesting la... but if you have seen the show, dont think you'll go again... the ticket a little pricey... forget how much liao... after the show, we went back to the hotel... another day have passed...
More next...
