Team Building @ Phuket - Day 1

Finally I have the time to post about the team building... basically our flight was in the morning and we reached Phuket airport about 9am TH time (all time in this post are TH time)... there's a bus waiting for us there that brought us to our hotel; Laguna Beach Resort... we were welcomed with flower and a welcome drink while waiting for our rooms..


Some of us have our rooms earlier cause we reached kinda early and they have not prepare the rooms for us... so while waiting, we took some photos and about 10am... they have set up a meeting room for us... so all of us went in to have our first team building sessions of the day... talk about generations and company values and etc... after the meeting around 12pm or so... we got our rooms and went to rest a while...


Then we have our lunch at 1pm... the Tom Yam Gong served there was awesome... spicy and sweet on the right point... the food was not bad...

After lunch, we have some free time... so we walk around the resort and took photos...


And we went to the beach... it's damn near to the resort... and the ocean was so breath taking... so beautiful... the water was so blue and also the sky... it feel so nice and relax...

This photo above was actually overexpose... but overexpose till have a feel to it... the photo have a wash-outt look... I likey...

So we took photos and play at the beach a while before our next activity...

After that we gather at the lobby at 2pm for our next activity; beach activities... we where divided into 2 teams; red and yellow.. played some counting game on the beach and also coconut bowling... after that we have a volleyball challenge... then the final tie breaker is to allign our stuff; what ever on our body and see which team is the longest... and overall, my team; red team won... whee~

After the activities, we have some free time... so we went swimming in the ocean... some of them kept on playing volleyball... the ocean wave was so big... it was fun... it's been a long while since I had swam in the ocean... after that, since the wave is so big, we decided to go swimming in the pool instead... after that we went back to get ready for the night...

Had dinner at a restaurant called Black Cat... the food there was so so only... the Tom Yam there can't fight with what we had for lunch...


After that, our bus arrive and took us to Patong Town... have an our free time before the show starts... went to a street where you see a lot of aqua... a street is full with bars and pack with them... and you will thought there are ladies...

Since nothing much to see there... so we went to the shopping center near by called Jungceylon... it has all the branded stuff there... just walk around cause the stuff there could be found here too...

Around 9pm, we gather back and the bus took us to a theater... what show we're watching? hehe... aqua show... it's called the Simon Caberet, a very famous show in Phuket... the show starts at 9.30pm and ends at 11pm... there a lot of songs they performed including the Wonder Girls' No Body But You, some classic Chinese song, Barbie Girl (very funny) and more... actually I had watched it years ago with my parent when we went to Thailand... but this show was bit better... no photos on this cause no picture was allowed... but after the show they queued outside to took photos with... but you have to pay them... I din took photos...

P.S: didnt want to put to many photos to reduce the length of the post... more photos will be uploaded after that...
