Broga Hill

Two weeks ago, before the break of dawn, at 3.30am, Alan, Wan, Derrick and me went to Broga Hill... all still look sleepy at that time... but was hype to go there... it actually not that hard to go... but have to pay a few tols to get there... could reach within 30-45 mins...

We reach the Palm Tree plantation (the starting point) at around 4.30am... so we started to walk into the plantation... after a few minutes we only reached the hill's foot... then we only realise the climb has just begun... we used torchlight to light our way to the hill top... at some point we reached the forest and it's kinda dangerous... it's pitch black and we could hardly see anything... even after the eyes have adjusted to the night... when we reached the top, around 5.30am, it was a huge relieved...

It was still kinda dark at that moment... our camera could not snap any scenery around... but the view was nice... the air was fresh... and cold breeze is blowing...

At around 6.30am or 7am... the sun started to rise... but it was on the other side... yeap, the back of the hill... we could only see the light but no sunrise... there are 4 peaks and we are at the third resting... waiting for the sun... the fourth peak is kinda dangerous cause you have to climb using a rope for support... and the area is kinda small (accorsing to people)...

So we hover around and snap pictures... there was a hill os people there... and we make friends with a few of them where we shared our seating place... hahaha... and they helped us to take pictures... they also gave me some plaster as I (dunno how) hurt my leg and it was bleeding... and I did not feel it after we have found a spot to rest...

Then the sun rise higher...

We were at the third peak... over looking it is the second peak... as you could see, there's a hill of people.. the colourful dots are humans... hahaha... it look like a green tea ice-cream with sprinkles on top...

After snapping a tonnes of photos... our friends called and said the have reached to top... they came later cause they have some stuff to do... so we went to the second peak to meet them...

Took a few tonnes more photos on the way... hahaha...

And the sun rise higher in the sky...

Every where is green... nature at it's best... the wind was so nice...

Meet HJ at the second peak... the said YK and his gf are at the first...

The sun rose and could finally see it... although the sun is kinda high but it was still not hot... it was around 8am if not mistaken...

More photos snapping away...

Met up with YK and his gf (third and fourth from left) on the first peak... then also saw one of our colleague (first and second from right)... so we took a group photo since we all met up there...

To end this post... a group photo taken by Ali... the people we make friends with... a nice guy... thanks for the photo... and also the plaster... appreciate it...

Shall exercise more...

RED LINE ~for TA~

We turned our tears into just one prayer
The miracle we saw at the moment on that day is not an illusion
But we are lost in our daily lives, to our sadness, aren't we?

If you have a feeling of despair, please remember
"This day called today on which you are going to give up,
Is the tomorrow on which somewhere, someone didn't want to give up."
And that I'm tightly, tightly
Holding your hands

I want to accept this sunrise again as a precious thing
Please don't be afraid of the step you want to take forward

If you run into a wall, please remember
"This day called today on which you are going to lose,
Is the tomorrow on which somewhere, someone wanted to fight."
And that your hands are connected to ours
However far away it may be

If you have a feeling of despair, please remember
that I'm tightly, tightly
Holding your hands

Ode To A Nightingale

My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains
My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk,
Or emptied some dull opiate to the drains
One minute past, and Lethe-wards had sunk:
'Tis not through envy of thy happy lot,
But being too happy in thy happiness,---
That thou, light-winged Dryad of the trees,
In some melodious plot
Of beechen green, and shadows numberless,
Singest of summer in full-throated ease.

O for a draught of vintage, that hath been
Cooled a long age in the deep-delved earth,
Tasting of Flora and the country green,
Dance, and Provencal song, and sun-burnt mirth!
O for a beaker full of the warm South,
Full of the true, the blushful Hippocrene,
With beaded bubbles winking at the brim,
And purple-stained mouth;
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen,
And with thee fade away into the forest dim:

Fade far away, dissolve, and quite forget
What thou among the leaves hast never known,
The weariness, the fever, and the fret
Here, where men sit and hear each other groan;
Where palsy shakes a few, sad, last gray hairs,
Where youth grows pale, and spectre-thin, and dies;
Where but to think is to be full of sorrow
And leaden-eyed despairs;
Where beauty cannot keep her lustrous eyes,
Or new love pine at them beyond tomorrow.

Away! away! for I will fly to thee,
Not charioted by Bacchus and his pards,
But on the viewless wings of Poesy,
Though the dull brain perplexes and retards:
Already with thee! tender is the night,
And haply the Queen-Moon is on her throne,
Clustered around by all her starry fays;
But here there is no light,
Save what from heaven is with the breezes blown
Through verdurous glooms and winding mossy ways.

I cannot see what flowers are at my feet,
Nor what soft incense hangs upon the boughs,
But, in embalmed darkness, guess each sweet
Wherewith the seasonable month endows
The grass, the thicket, and the fruit-tree wild;
White hawthorn, and the pastoral eglantine;
Fast-fading violets covered up in leaves;
And mid-May's eldest child,
The coming musk-rose, full of dewy wine,
The murmurous haunt of flies on summer eves.

Darkling I listen; and for many a time
I have been half in love with easeful Death,
Called him soft names in many a mused rhyme,
To take into the air my quiet breath;
Now more than ever seems it rich to die,
To cease upon the midnight with no pain,
While thou art pouring forth thy soul abroad
In such an ecstasy!
Still wouldst thou sing, and I have ears in vain---
To thy high requiem become a sod

Thou wast not born for death, immortal Bird!
No hungry generations tread thee down;
The voice I hear this passing night was heard
In ancient days by emperor and clown:
Perhaps the self-same song that found a path
Through the sad heart of Ruth, when, sick for home,
She stood in tears amid the alien corn;
The same that oft-times hath
Charmed magic casements, opening on the foam
Of perilous seas, in faery lands forlorn.

Forlorn! the very word is like a bell
To toll me back from thee to my sole self!
Adieu! the fancy cannot cheat so well
As she is famed to do, deceiving elf.
Adieu! adieu! thy plaintive anthem fades
Past the near meadows, over the still stream,
Up the hill-side; and now 'tis buried deep
In the next valley-glades:
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?
Fled is that music:---do I wake or sleep

eating on stones

Went for dinner at Stone Grill at Aeon yesterday night... the food there is not bad... and the price is quite reasonable... we ordered a few an shared... bro's in town too...

This is the tom yam seafood noodles... the tom yam not bad...

This is the chicken soup noodles... so so nia... taste like maggi mee perencah... kinda salty...

This is clams... dono what clams but it's so fresh and juicy... it was left on the stone for quite some time and it is still juicy...

This is lamb meat and prawns before and after... we thought the prawns will be dried out since it look so... but when eating it... it is still fresh and succulent... it all total up to 86 bucks.. of course we ordered drinks too... juices...

The stones are volcanic stones which could stand very high heat... it will still be hot when you talk for hours... not sure how long will it last la... the food you left on the stones will not get burned or overcook or dried up... so no worries... not bad not bad... can go again...

Hmm...
should I...
