Bukit Panorama & Teluk Chempedak
Since last Friday is holiday, HJ suddenly suggested to go to Sungai Lembing... to climb the infamous Bukit Panorama (林明山)... at first no one wanted to go, so we thought is cancel but at at last we found enough people to go... 4 people, one car, ngam ngam...
We only slept about less than 3 hours and woke up around 3am... we left KL around 4am and our journey begun... it took around 3 hours or so to reach Sungai Lembing by Karak Highway, exit through Kuantan exit... and drove another 30KM or so... it's actually a small town... with wooden houses... Maxis no line there one...
After we park our car and have breakfast... we start to climb the hill... it took us about 30-40 minutes to reach the top... it's actually not that hard to climb as there are staircase... it actually rained the whole way from KL to Sungai Lembing... but not that heavy...when we reached the top, the rain stopped... and the ocean cloud (云海) is so beautiful... but it's kinda difficult to take photos since there are trees around...
The view on top is changing continuously as the cloud keep shifting by the wind... and there is a time when the whole view are covered by clouds... white and gray all around... we took our time there and snapping away... around 10am or so, we said our goodbyes...
When we reached ground level... we rest and have our lunch there...
This is tomato sauce noodles (茄汁面)... it's actuall like 'wat tan ho' (滑蛋河) but with tomato taste...
This is black pepper noodles (辣仔面)... something like hokkien mee...
After lunch, we walk around the town... but after half an hour or so... it started to rain again... so we decided to call it a day and continue our journey... next stop, Teluk Chempedak... the road to the beach is kinda confusing as there is no road signs... we have to rely on the GPS to lead us there... but it is actually kinda easy...
When we reached the beach... there is a whole bunch of people, very crowded... but the view of the ocean is so nice... with the small and big to huge rocks around...
Spot the crab... tsk tsk... it seems dead cause it's not moving at all...
This rock looks like a whale emerging from the water with it's mouth open... isn't it?
After enough of taking pictures, we felt hungry... and guess what we had? McD... yes, we went all the way for 3 hours just to have McD... hahaha... actually there is nothing to eat there except fast food... since it's raya...
After having a bite or so... we decided to call it a day... we have dinner on the way back at Kampung Bukit Tinggi... they way to Genting... the trip was fun... although it rained the whole day... but it's not heavy, and the weather is nice... trips like this is fun, not much planning needed... when you want to go, just go... thanks to HJ of course...
P.S.: Photos are taken using my phone... so there's only scenery, no people.. people photos will be uploaded soon... hehehe...
