A cr@zy Melaka trip

The beginning of March, a bunch of my freinds decided to make a trip to Melaka... and Arif and me are their tour guide... we came down on Friday night after work and stayed the night... some stay my house some stay at the hotel in front of my house... on Saturday, we go jonker... biasa la, kan...

Then we went to the chicken rice ball for lunch... ordered the asam fish... it's a must...

After that, we walk around to walk off the fats... walk here walk there buying souvenirs... after that we had the famous cendol Melaka... sweet and yummy...

Then we walk all the way to the St. Paul Hill...

Then walk down the other side to the A'Famosa Fort... saw some uncle playing violin... cool~


Semua mau jadi model... perasan betul... hehehe....

After that it's already around 5pm or so... so we went back, took a bath and head for ikan bakar at Serkam Pantai... after dinner, went bcak to Jonker cause they wanna see the night life there... jam pack with people... on the way to mamak-ing... we saw a fun fair, so we went in and play some ride... hahaha... it's been a long long time since I went into a fun fair... after a few rides... we went mamak-ing but couldn't find any nearby... so we went to Windmill...

On Sunday, they went shopping and jonker again... I didn't follow them cause have some stuffs to do... hehehe... we went back KL around 4pm...

Had a meet up yesterday...
it's nice...

A great weekend

Last weekend was kinda fun... went to i-City on Saturday night and on Sunday, went dim sum for breaky... went to the Ah Xian Dim Sum... so so only la but kinda expensive... after that went to Sunway Piramid to watch Alice in Wonderland... the movie is nice... love Johnny Depp, his acting is so cool... after the movie went to J.Co to cool off before heading back... weekend tend to pass by very fast...

I shall come back less often...
it's killing me...

i-City

Last Saturday went to i-City in Shah Alam... a group of us went there around 7pm or so... at first we did not know what it was till we reached the place and saw the beautiful lights... i-City is basically a business area, nothing special until they built/made this lights to attract people... the place is so pack till it's hard to take photos and even just to walk around... we did not expect this so we did not bring camera... we just took photos woth our phone... some photos taken by me... hehe...

This is the most beautiful one... it's like a winter wonderland... we are suppose to walk from outside to see the things outside then only reached this winter thingy one... but we did not know we just follow all the cars to parking... so we came out straight from the parking is this wonderland... it really feel like winter...

This is the wonderland again... it is actually built in an air-cond room to bring the winter feeling... but there are so many people, you could hardly feel the cold... got la, a bit...

Actually there is nothing to see or special actually... just see the lights of trees and animals... I'm not sure till when will the lights be there... if you wanna go, just use Federal Highway... and follow the i-City signs... it's kinda easy to spot...

Banting day trip

Two weeks or so ago, my parents came down to KL to celebrate my dad's birthday... my sis pre-book the begger's chicken at Banting... you have to pre-order 3 or 4 days before you go because they need time to prepare the food and cook it... we went on Friday that day since it's a holiday...

This is the place where they cook the food... it's very hot inside... like a big oven...

The famous begger's chicken... very tender and soft... but the chicken is kinda small...

This is the pig's hand or leg, whatever... best! not fat at all since it's so tender it melts in your mouth...

This fish is very special... they took out the fish skin, take the meat, throw the bones, keep the head and tail... then they make fish paste with the meat with added ingredients... make it like the fish shape, wrap it with the fish skin, join it with the head and tail and then fry it... awesomeness...

This is call the Long Life Soup... kononnya after minum can long life... think they boiled it for hours cause the soup is so sweet... and also the smell of herbs...

After that, we werent plan to go sight seeing but they aunty in the shop saw since we are here, why not go jalan jalan... go to the Dong Zen temple but at night only is beautiful... then she say why not go to the sea since it's very near from there and also try out the famous pau... so we decided to go to the sea... it's call Pantai Morib...

It's someting like Klebang or Tanjung... water are as brown like usual... but the wind are great...

After that we went to find the pau at Tanjung Sepat but we are lost... instead, we stop by a shop to buy some local treats... it turn out to be a famous area... the lover's bridge... our luck not bad huh... the bridge is actually an old jetty... only my bro and me went to the end... cause the others scared of the heat...

Later, we went to find the pau again from the direction the shopkeeper gave... it's actually quite deep in the shop area... we expect it to be a big air-cond lot... but it turn out to be a small one... like a normal shop lot... but a lot of people are buying the paus... we also bought some... kinda expensive but it's nice... got the 'mui choi' one... dunno call what... no photos with me... hehe...

Then we sit at a coffee shop to drink and enjoy our paus... we then met a very friendly uncle... his wife talk about the mushroom planting place around here... so my dad ask him how to go... then he insisted to lead the way by his motorcycle... it's actually quite near... we are lucky that day...

This is how they plant the fungus... 'ling zhi' also got... it's actually a tourist spot selling some stuff... the place is call Ganoderma Farm...

At the farm, there is also a jetty... but with a hut in the middle... so I cant resist to not take photos... and also my bro and me that go... actually I force him... cause camera with him... hehehe...

After all that, it's around 6pm or so dy... so we head for the Dong Zen Temple at Jenjarom... we reach there, there is a lot of people... the temple surrounding is decorated with statues and figurines... it's still CNY at that time... people say the temple only do this twice a year; during CNY and Mooncake festival...

The place is huge... after taking a few photos the camera runs dry on battery... so we just walk around enjoying the scene... around 7pm or so... the whole place lit up... it's like being in wonderland... all the statues and figures are lit up...after that, around 8pm it started to drizzle... so we decided to go back... and it starts pouring...

CSSC Grammy Night 2010 - Awards

After we are all seated, the emcee came out and talk some crap.. his name is dunno wad B (yeah, I remember the B part only)... then we were serve 'lou sang'... dunno how many time 'lou' dy... even though the 'plate' or basket or whatever is very big... we still 'lou' till the whole table... hahaha... people say the higher and the messier the better...

This is the hall... quite a big hall... I not sure got how many tables though... din count...

Later, those who din dressed up are to be kiss by a fella... not sure why they choose him though... he seems honoured to be called... hahaha... he's the one 2nd from left... the left most is the emcee...

After that, our big boss gives some speech...

And some awards were given after that... forget the awards for what dy... best something something la... hahaha...

Then, we were entertained by a lovely belly dancer... she really can move her stomach...

More awards were given after that... our team was also nominated for some... but din won...

After that, we played some treasure hunting... the emcee asked us to find some stuffs our own table.. 3 ang paus, a girl's left show and a guy's right shoe, a piece of tissue paper, the emcee name, the main cleaner kakak name, a 6 inches long hair, etc etc (that's all I can remember)... hehe...

After that, 3 tables are tied... which means they all have the items mentioned... so the last thing to get is... a bra... then this fella (bottom photo) really got a bra from his table... a girl really took her's off... OMG!!!

So, later moved on to more awards... this time, our team won... yeah! ohyea, the won not only the medal, but each person get a thousand bucks... RM1000... no kidding... EACH!

Lepas tu, more games... this time the participants are recuired to dance...

Last but not least, the people that made it happened are honoured... thanks to them the night is wonderful...
