Eagle Ranch - Day 2 (pm)

(continue from the previous post)

Around 2pm... we gather back at the training room and went to the beach... we were first brief on the objectives and task of what we are going to do... that time, the sun is scorching hot... it's indescribable...

So we were taught to build our own yacht/ship/boat/raft (whatever you call it)... we were divided into 2 teams... the objectives is to build the raft and row it across the sea for 75m, grab the flag, row all the way back and dismantle the raft...

...so, we need some super power strength to do it... hahaha...

...or maybe a Bollywood dancer? I dont think so... super woman maybe... tsk tsk...

After we built the raft and were so proud of our 'master piece'... the trainer asked us a question:"Do you trust each other?"... and we were all qondering what the question for... so we all said yes... and he said, you will exchange ur raft... =.=!!!

But before we begin the activity... we were asked to do water bravery test or sort (cant remember what it called)... then we all have to carry our raft (in this case is our opponent raft) to the sea...

...and the challenge starts...

The flags looked kinda near from the beach but actually it's far... half way through we were all tired... and my team was singing row row row your boat, gently down the stream sea... we are actually enjoying the sea breeze and the moment at sea... at that time the sun is hiding behind some grey clouds...

After we grabbed the flag and row back to shore... we have to carry it back to the beach and dismantle it... organise all the things together such as ropes and wood...

...and it was very exhausting... feel like all the energy are drained from you... on our way back it started to pour heavily... and we thought of going swimming... yes, we're crazy... we have no more enerfy but our spirit are high... since it rained, we went back to our room and rest...

That night, we have a BBQ dinner... the food was getting better and better day by day... the dinner was held at a bar sort place with karaoke... so we enjoyed our food and sing karaoke... cause we have a game where whoever that pick a joker from the deck of card will have to sing... and I am one of the lucky ones... after a few rounds some of the team went back to have an early rest while some still stayed for more songs...

May the spirit be always with you...

Eagle Ranch - Day 2 (am)

I seperate the second day into 2 post... cause if not it will be very very long... this is the first post for day 2... in the morning we woke up at 7am just to have breaky cause breakfast was served at 7am and we have to rebut with people... that goes for lunch and dinner too...

(get ready for a very long post...)

After breaky, we walk around the resort to take pictures and such...

...and we do the Eagle Ranch jump... woohoo! hahaha...

Alex is our photographer... kekeke... this photo he ask us to take off our spectacles due to the reflection of the flash...

While we are busy-ing taking pictures... some of the guys went to play basketball... but tak cukup kaki... in this case, tangan...

After that we went back to change and gather at the training room... hmm... cant remember what we do... hahaha... I think we do some indoor activities before going to the obstacle ground...

This is the obstacles ground... and above is just the beginning of the course... it has 20 obstacles totally... yes, 20 (twenty, er shi, di zap, yi sap, ni juu)...

At the beginning is just a warm up... soon the going gets tough... as we have to climb through walls...

This is the first wall... not that tall... most of the guys could easily climb through without help... including me of course... heh heh heh...

So, we have to help each other to pass... is all about team work (again....)

This is the second wall... it's almost the double of my height...

It's very tiring I tell you... after the 2 walls... we are all half dead... and we are only half way through... I skip a few cause if I were to post all the obstacles... it's gonna be extremely long...

After that is the monkey grip/swing (cant remember)... most of the guys coulf make throught... and again, including me... hehehe... I was kinda surprise myself... hahaha... so for those that could not make through by themselves, we have to help and carry them through while they hang on...

...as such :D

We basically have to crawl, climb, swing, jump, skip, and duck walk through the course... and for the last obstacle, we have to swing from a bar from one side to the other... but in between is a pool of water... but some of us ended up like this...

...all wet... kesian... someone ask her not to let go but she hear as let go...

After that, a group shot...

Then, after have a short break with some tibbits... we have to suit up again... it's time for the abseiling... we basically have to go down from that thing... it's about 2 storeys high...

Like this la... I dont know how to explain... hahaha... after the obstacles, all of us are tired... but it's only 1pm... so we went for lunch... without shower or anything... cause we're starving... after lunch we went back to clean up and rest... getting prepared for the evening...

So, stay tuned...
again...
hehe...

Eagle Ranch - Day 1

Day one of the trip... we all gather at TPM at 7am and went for breakfast at Sri Petaling... later we left around 8am or so... we reach our destination around 9.30am...

We are serve a light morning break before we start our indoor activities... we have some games and team building activities...

Everyone has a value... it may be small but when the time matured... so does the value...

We are given 12 nails and one nail on a stopper... we are ask to put all the nails on the nail with stopper... the idea is to make the shape of a roof... click the picture to view bigger... there are other activities too... but not gonna cover all... cant remember all too... hehe...

After that, we all had our lunch...

...and went to our room to rest and put our luggage...

Above is the place where we stayed for the 3 days... it's actually 2 rooms above and 2 room below... the rooms are connected in the middle with doors... all our rooms are located below... it make it easier for us...

After resting for a while... in the afternoon, we all suit up...

It's time for WAR!!!

But before that, we were divided into 4 groups and each have to come out with their strategy... it's all about team work...

Before we rush into the battle field... we were given a brief talk on the rules of the game... and we were also given chance to practice our shots...

After the war is over... we all decided to go to the pool... swimming! yeah! cause we have a couple of hours to kill before dinner and the night activities...

We gather at the training room at 8pm (if not mistaken la... forget dy...) we are going jungle trekking... we were divided into 2 groups... and were given 2 torch light and 2 compass each... then we were briefed on the rules and how to use the compass to find our way...

This is the first group... they were lost... hahaha... and on their way they saw a snake... lucky or not you decide... cause the trainer say since they started this till now, they never seen any snakes around... it took them 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach back...

This is my group... we took only 50 minutes to reach back.. hehehe... we almost lost ourselves too... cause the person say to walk about 50m to reach the check point... but we walk like double or triple of that... when we reach 50m (we have a counting system where 150 steps are considered to be 100m... just an estimation...), we could not see anything in sight... so we switch off all the torch light to look for a light source but to no avail... the only light source is the moom light...

But we all decided to walk straight forward to the way the compass was pointing us... and we made our way through... it was an experience indeed... is was very very extremely dark... the only light is from the moom... and luckily there was a full moon that night... the view was nice too... we actually stop a few time just to enjoy the scenery and the full moon...

After the trek... this is what happened to our shoes and jeans... all muddy... cause it rained in the evening after we went swimming... luckily it stopped before we jungle trek... so, that's all for the first day... hehehe...

P.S.: the pictures are all mix together... too many cameras... most of the pictures are taken by the trainers... I think you could tell from the quality...

Stay tuned...
