Melaka Lagi!

2 weeks ago... day after the annual dinner... we had a one day Melaka trip.. again... but with different people... cause we attending a wedding luncheon at Tangkak the next day... so we left early in the morning... had breakfast at McD in Serdang and off we go...

We reached around 12 noon or so and stopped at my home to put our luggage... they're be staying at my house, four of them... since my parent had went to Paris... after resting a while, we went for lunch at Ole Sayang... they want to have Nyonya Food... not very nice to be honest... that restaurant is famous due to it's a tourist spot... after lunch went to Jonker and walk around...

After walking around an hour or so... it started to drizzle... so we decided to have a break.. we went to have cendol... ordered some laksa too... loved the Nyonya Laksa, soury taste... when we were eating, it actually rained quite heavily... so we made the right choice...

Then we continued to the Red House... snap some photos...

And then on to the St. Paul Hill... when we were on top... it started to rain again... damn heavy... luckily we bought the umbrellas with us... so we rush down and to Dataran...

So it's time to eat some more...hehe... went to Nadeje and the queue was long... have to wait an hour to be seated... so we went shopping a while... during that time, there is some luggage discounts... two of them bought a luggage each... sweat... come Melaka buy luggage... after an hour went to had our cake... but most of the cakes had finished... think is due to the rain...

After that, we walk back down... on the way down took this set of photos... very funny cause we did not planned this.. the story goes like this... four strangers where walking... two of them meet each other... then one pair became friends and another started fighting... hahaha...

Went back to the A'Famosa Fort to take some pictures... and is the whole way back to Jonker...

Walk around and we decided to have popiah and some shells... so we walk the whole way from Jonker to Bunga Raya... the popiah stall is in front of Madam King's... very nice the popiah... we 'tapao' two small one and we only had it at around 10pm when we reached home... but the popiah did not go soggy... still fresh... the eat shell one, the store is beside Madam King's... it's in an alley... I known of this place and always thought it only selling 'se ham'.. but actually it have others too like lala, rojak kangkong and taufu bakar... the sauce is very special and nice...

Then we walk all the way back to Jonker... walk from the head to tail of the road... and finally stopped at 'San Su Gong'... ordered the cendol... not nice, only taste of coconut milk and damn sweet... they bought some stuffs and we head back my house...

The next morning, I bought them to Bukit Cina to have 'Mi Hun Ke'... don't think they really enjoyed it... maybe our taste is just different...

Since we did not get to eat some of the cakes yesterday... we went to the Nadeje cake shop, the original one... went there they were just opening... so we wait for a while and then went in...

After having the cake... we went back and get prepared... and off we go to Tangkak... one day Melaka trip... not bad indeed as I remembered we only eat and eat and eat... hahaha... good food, great company, what could you ask for more...

Damn hot the weather this few days...

Spring Themed Annual Dinner

About 2 weeks or so ago... had our company annual dinner at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel... thought would have a blast... but was a boring night... worst than last year's...


First of all, the cocktail area outside the ballroom was so small... could not fit so many of us... so some of us went outside since the area is beside the pool... and it was drizzling a little..



So when it is time to went in... the ballroom was fine... but the lighting was too bright and the air-cond was not cold... it make the room like a heater room... nevermind that, so the show started... had dinner, which was bad... and watch a performance...

After that, continue with award giving and proceed with another performance... not bad la... there are also some games in between... but the MC that night sux big time... read also cannot read properly... don't know what the heck is he reading... making the night a disaster and boring... he do not know how to bring up the crowd or the atmosphere....

Continue with the best dress award... the MC change to another person... at least this is better... the guy's award won by the guy with a hat... he's crazy... drunk maybe... and the girl's award won by the girl on the left most..

After that, more lucky draws was given away and proceed with the grand draw... not much of a luck... I won myself a blender... when the dance floor is open... the MC said the first couple to go on the dance stage will be awarded... no one 'chap' him... everyone went outside cause it was freaking hot, boring and tired...
